Lively and varied nightlife, try Garfinkel's, the Garibaldi Lift Company, Savage Beagle and Longhorn Saloon. Note - bars and clubs for over 19 years olds only. It is advisable to carry ID if you think you will need it.

Families and children

The Whistler Kids Ski & Snowboard School offers daily group lessons for all ages and abilities. Ski programmes start from 3-17 years with 5 day courses from Monday to Friday and two day courses over the weekend. Snowboard programmes start from 6 years - teens. All day programmes include lunch. Infant and toddler care is available for ages 3 months - 36 months from C$95. Blackcomb has a slow moving Magic Chair and there is a kids-only area at one of the mid stations.
